Adams County Records Contacts

Questions about an Adams County arrest belong with the office that created or currently holds the record. Adams County Busted Mugshots is not a government office and cannot confirm custody, confirm release, retrieve a booking file, or issue a photograph. The contacts below separate county jail matters from court, state, federal, immigration, and emergency needs. Confirm hours and instructions before traveling.

Private reference notice: Adams County Busted Mugshots is not affiliated with Adams County, the Sheriff, the jail, any city, Idaho courts, or corrections. It cannot confirm a person’s custody or release, retrieve a record, or supply a photo. Use the originating office for those answers.

Visitor information

The public Sheriff page does not list a separate records-unit line or booking clerk. Call the main number and ask which staff member accepts a booking-record or booking-photo request. The official public-records form asks for requester contact information, a clear report description, and a case number when available. Identify the person, approximate arrest or booking date, arresting agency if known, and the photo as a separate item if it was maintained and is releasable.

The jail visitor page lists Sunday hours of 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for female inmates and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. for male inmates. Tuesday and Thursday evening hours are 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for female inmates and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for male inmates. Visits are limited to thirty minutes per inmate per visitation day, photo identification is required, and a juvenile visitor must have a parent or legal guardian. Hours can change, so call before travel. A visiting window does not establish that a named person is in custody.

The records form states that copies under 100 pages have no copy fee. Photo, tape, or video requests require requester-provided media and a $2 copying fee. Redaction and actual employee time beyond two person-hours may be charged, overtime may be billed at one and one-half times the wage, and costs are prepaid. The agency has three working days to reply or to notify the requester that more time is needed. That is an initial response rule, not a promise that a complex photo request will be completed in three days.

Adams County Court Hours and Records

The Adams County Judicial Department lists courthouse hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Its researched contact is `(208) 253-4561` option 8. The courthouse is listed at 201 Industrial, Council, with a mailing address of P.O. Box 48, Council, Idaho 83612. The department says to call for forms. The Magistrate Division is listed separately at `(208) 253-4230`.

Start with Idaho iCourt. Search a name in last-name-first-name format and add a case number when available. Sealed cases and information exempt under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 may not appear in the public portal. The clerk can explain how to inspect a public case record that is not available online. A booking charge is an accusation, not a final court disposition.

State, Federal, and Alert Contacts

Use the Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search for a person in state incarceration, probation, or parole. IDOC says the search is updated daily, but it is not a county booking or photo service. The Bureau of Prisons locator addresses federal inmate records and does not provide an Adams County booking photo. A no-result BOP search may not resolve a person held by the U.S. Marshals Service or in a local or contract facility. Use the ICE Online Detainee Locator for current immigration custody, which can change independently of a state court case.

The Sheriff links to external notification tools with narrower roles. Adams County ALERTS is for emergency and weather notices, not a booking feed. VINELink can provide custody notifications where the jurisdiction participates. The Sheriff-linked Offender Watch route is an external offender-notification link whose fields were not independently verified. None is a live booking-photo gallery.

Urgent Safety and Legal Questions

Call 911 when there is immediate danger. Do not approach a person named in a wanted notice. For a possible warrant or a question about your own case, contact the court clerk or a lawyer. For a factual correction to a county record, contact the originating custodian and provide the supporting disposition or order. Adams County Busted Mugshots cannot act as an intermediary or confirm a result.
